The Caleffi 548006A hydraulic separator creates a zone with a low pressure loss, which enables connected primary and secondary circuits to be hydraulically independent of each other; the flow in one circuit does not create or interupt flow in another. Hydraulically decoupling primary and seconary circuits eliminates pump conflict.
This device includes an automatic high-capacity air vent with service valve to discharge accumulated air within the circuits.

Easy to install and seams really solid. Looks easy to change the element if it ever fails in the future or change it to a different size if I missed on my calculations. Has been running my workshop heat for a week now and seems to be really efficient.
